Job Description

As a Flight Attendant with Southwest Airlines, you will be the face ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction. It’s a role that requires dedication, resilience, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality service. This position includes responsibilities ranging from pre-flight briefings to in-flight services and post-flight checks.

Responsibilities

– Attend and participate in pre-flight briefings and in-flight responsibilities.

– Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passengers’ needs and concerns.

– Perform safety demonstrations and ensure all safety standards are met.

– Serve refreshments and meals, and sell onboard products.

– Administer first aid as needed.

– Ensure the cleanliness of the cabin.

– Assist passengers during emergencies.

Requirements

– At least 21 years of age.

– High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

– Ability to pass a rigorous training program.

– Capable of lifting luggage and other items up to 35 pounds.

– Willingness to work on feet for extended periods.

– Ability to adapt to varying work schedules and flexible hours.

Educational Qualifications

– High School Diploma or GED required.

– Further certifications in hospitality, customer service, or safety are advantageous but not required.

Experience

– Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial.

– Prior experience as a Flight Attendant is not required but can be an advantage.
