Part-Time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Virtual Learning
Description We are seeking a passionate and experienced remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team and support students with visual impairments in a virtual learning environment. In this role, youll work with students in a school district in Virginia, helping them achieve academic success and reach their full potential... Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in a remote setting. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to meet the individual needs of each student. Adapt and modify learning materials to ensure accessibility. Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as necessary. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field. Valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Teaching the Visually Impaired. Minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Position Details PreK-12 student caseload. Part-time, 16 hours per week. Competitive compensation for both direct instruction and indirect hours. 1099 contract position offering flexibility.
