Digital Content Strategist

Our medical association client is seeking a midlevel Content Strategist with hands on writing capabilities to join their team in a freelance capacity! This role is fully remote, 37.5 hours per week. This contract is set for 6 months with the potential to extend. This is a collaborative team working on several high-visibility, priority initiatives and projects for the association including DEI, public health and public policy. You'll help manage overall digital strategy to improve user experience and content consumption on their website and be responsible for the day-to-day creation of content. This is a mix of creative and technical. Content Strategist Responsibilities: • Create new content; apply existing messaging from print and other sources onto the web • Shape web content strategy and ensure content is found when needed • Audit and refresh website and related microsites • Evaluate traffic patterns to improve and develop content that speaks to right audience • Identify areas... for improvement and work into overall schedule • Manage YouTube channel • Help with some web migration Ideal Content Strategist will have: • 6+ years of experience digital content strategy • Strong Writing skills • Understanding of search/SEO and overall information architecture • Proficient in AP style Creative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes: Eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
