Schools - Special Education Teacher - Remote | WFH
We are excited to invite applications for a dedicated and motivated Special Education Teacher with an Educational Diagnostician Certificate. This role involves conducting Individualized Education Program (IEP) assessments for students with varying disabilities. While the role is remote, the assessments will be for a school in New Orleans. Candidates located anywhere in Louisiana or potentially... out of state (depending on licensure) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Conduct individualized education plan (IEP) assessments for students with disabilities. Recommend evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions. Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to support student success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid teaching license in Special Education from Louisiana. Educational Diagnostician (Ed. Diag.) Certificate. Experience Working With Students With Disabilities. Knowledge of evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
