Coastal Specialty Forest Products, a wholesale supplier of wood and composite building products to retail lumberyards, is currently recruiting for a safe and reliable commercial driver to transport and deliver product to our customers around the Portland... Maine area. This is a day position with some flexibility in hours. Job Responsibilities • Ensures tractor and trailer are safely operated at all times. • Delivers product according to specified route. • Utilizes an ELD (Electronic Log Device) according to stated regulations and company policy. • Submits requests for maintenance and / or equipment failure issues. • Assists with straps or vehicle curtains at delivery locations, as needed. • Completes all required vehicle inspections and maintains clean vehicle. • Processes paperwork daily and communicates utilizing company-provided electronic equipment. • Represents Company in a professional manner and builds collaborative relationships with customers. Required Qualifications & Experience • Current CDL Class A with a DOT MED card (or able to pass a DOT Physical) • Commitment to adhering to all safety processes and protocols • Knowledge of CSA and FMCSR rules and regulations • 2+ years of prior excellent driving record experience as a commercial driver • Acceptable driving record – according to Insurance Provider requirements • Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Background and DOT Drug Test • Legally permitted to work in the United States Physical Conditions • Able to bend, squat or pull as needed. • Able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs. • Able to sit for extended periods of time. • Able to work outdoors in varying extreme conditions Apply Job!
