We are seeking to grow our team of passionate, knowledgable Democratic political YouTube on-air personalities to join our team of four hosts. As a Political YouTube Personality/Host,you will be responsible for filming yourself discussing informative breaking political news videos for our new official Occupy Democrats YouTube channel -- as well as helping find breaking news stories and videos to cover. This is a full-time work from home gig. We will provide microfone and lighting etc. Must be able to work every two weekends, must be able to work evening shift(If you live on the East Coast). We have over 13 million followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram -- and now just joined YouTube only a few months ago and are really taking off. We're already up to 220,000 subscribers and climbing rapidly. Duties: - Find and analyze breaking political news to create compelling short breaking news videos (2-5 minutes) about. - Develop a script and present political news, opinions, and analysis in an engaging manner - Film and produce high-quality videos for YouTube. - Basic editing skills needed to edit your videos before submission to our editor. - Stay informed about current events and political developments Qualifications: - Must be good at being on camera - Excellent communication skills and on-camera presence - Strong knowledge and interest in politics and current affairs - Basic skills in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Avid, or similar tools This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about Democratic politics to showcase their skills and engage with a diverse audience on important political issues -- and get paid well to do something you love while making a difference and helping the Democratic Party and liberal causes.
