Virtual Assistant

Genna Blackburn is an illustrator, surface pattern designer and educator who loves to teach others how to find inspiration, make lots of art, and put their beautiful portfolios together. We're in search of a virtual assistant who's able to wear multiple hats while the company is quickly growing, with the opportunity down the road to fine-tune your role in the company to best suit your strengths... and passions. Duties are mostly in the education side of the business, and include administration, customer support, design, marketing and content production. If you excel at maintaining seamless operations and providing exceptional support, then you're the perfect fit for our team. APPLY NOW: https://www.gennablackburn.com/careers Duties include (but are not limited to): • Execute and create SOPs (standard operating procedures) • Create and schedule email newsletters in ConvertKit • Schedule and release ongoing educational content through blog posts, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, etc. • Customer success advocate • Develop and establish systems within the business • Organize and manage content, photos, files, etc. in Dropbox • Work on platforms we use: Kajabi, Stripe, PayPal, Toggl, Circle, Facebook, YouTube, Trello • Create and manage content in Adobe InDesign • Manage email inbox in HelpScout, and related tasks, e.g. answer questions that come in, deal with failed student payments, etc. • Watch trainings to enhance abilities and get ideas for the business • Meet virtually with the team when necessary Basic Qualifications: • 3+ years relevant work experience • Demonstrated experience with all relevant online digital marketing platforms - social media channels, blog, newsletters, video, and website • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience communicating effectively • Deep understanding of the online world and social media platforms - Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube • Savvy with creating content in InDesign (PDFs, IG stories, images, etc.) • Highly proficient at managing multiple projects at once • Able to take ownership over the role • Passionate about being part of the Genna Blackburn team! Hours: About 10–20 hours/week virtually with possibility of full-time employment as the business grows. We are flexible in terms of the schedule and can work with you as needed.
