Grant Reviewer- Flexible Scheduling Pilot Program Grant

Chaise Management Group, LLC is seeking individuals to review and score competitive grant applications for the FY24 Flexible Scheduling Pilot Program Grant for the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). The Flexible Scheduling Pilot Program Grant supports DC public and public charter local education agencies (LEAs) in bolstering student achievement by... implementing flexible schedules that support the retention of the District’s high-quality, effective and diverse educators. More specifically, grant funds will be used to implement schedules that provide students with rigorous academic instruction, while allowing educators additional time to engage in professional development, continuing education, course planning, collaboration, wellness and other similar activities. Through this grant, OSSE seeks to advance both targeted student social and academic support and holistic staff retention initiatives. Individuals must have a minimum of three years of school-based elementary or secondary education experience and/or 1-2 years of leadership experience in a school or LEA; and must have prior grant, evaluation, and/or budget experience. They must also be available from Jan. 22, 2024 to Feb. 16, 2024. During this time, grant reviewers will receive training and review grant applications. Each grant application will take approximately three (3) hours to review, and reviewers who complete the review process successfully will be compensated $150.00 per application.
