With an in-house technology platform built from scratch, we have rapidly generated multiple drug discovery programs that are advancing towards the clinic. We seek a highly motivated, B.S. level compound manager, contractor position with expertise in compound management and automation to join our team located in Arsenal Yards, Watertown MA for 4-5 months. This individual will work under the guidance of the Compound Management group to deliver compound plating requests supporting the drug discovery programs at Remix. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can work independently, and as part of a team, in a dynamic fast-paced innovative biotech environment. Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Support compound plating workflows for Remix’s drug discovery efforts under the guidance of the Compound Management Group • Design and conduct compound treatment protocols for high throughput screens and routine assays • Maintain detailed records • Prioritize activities, manage internal resources while balancing multiple priorities under time and resource constraints • Build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues across the broader Remix team Qualifications • S. in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering or a related discipline with 1+ years’ of experience in industry hands-on lab experience • Experience with various liquid handler instruments (preferably Echo acoustic dispenser) and automation is desired • Ability to fulfill compound requests efficiently while maintaining consistency and accuracy • Demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking and careful record-keeping • Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team • Ability to prioritize responsibilities while remaining flexible with changing needs and meeting deadlines • Desire to learn and be part of fast-paced team with multiple concurrent priorities Remix values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination for all employees and qualified applicants without regard to a person’s race, color, gender, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital or veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
