[Remote] Senior GCP DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a passion for building and maintaining effective cloud infrastructures. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing GCP solutions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Control and support customer environments in Google Cloud Platform
- Consult customers regarding technical elements such as installation, sizing, and scaling
- Support development teams by addressing technical CI/CD inquiries and enhancing delivery processes
- Develop and oversee CI/CD processes with a focus on automation
- Manage and optimize the complete release cycle
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Google Cloud production systems
- Familiarity with AI tools and techniques
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline management and development
- Skills in using container management and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, Mesos, and Docker Swarm
- Competency in working with package managers like Helm
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Knowledge of IT security elements, including encryption, certificates, key management, security mechanisms, and compliance practices
- English proficiency at level B2 or higher
