[Remote] Recommerce Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TOMORROW is a company focused on digital retail solutions, and they are seeking a Recommerce Consultant to help build and scale their recommerce initiative. The role involves program management of critical initiatives, driving execution across various teams, and establishing infrastructure for scalable operations.
Responsibilities
- Program manage priority initiatives end-to-end — Translate strategic goals into clear workplans with owners, milestones, risks, and decision points across the recommerce portfolio
- Own cross-functional workstreams — Drive execution across commercial planning, customer experience, supply chain, product, partner management, and analytics
- Coordinate and unblock — Serve as the central point of coordination across teams, clarifying priorities, surfacing blockers, and ensuring stakeholders have what they need to execute
- Identify gaps and build solutions — Spot dependencies, bottlenecks, and decision needs across the program; create practical solutions that improve execution speed, clarity, and accountability
- Establish KPIs and reporting routines — Use data to inform decisions, track progress, and communicate impact to leadership and cross-functional partners
- Build for scale — Document project plans, SOPs, playbooks, governance forums, and meeting cadences that enable repeatability as the recommerce initiative grows
Skills
- 5–10+ years in retail or e-commerce — with previous experience in program management or consulting, ideally with exposure to building or scaling cross-functional initiatives
- Structure from ambiguity — You've brought governance, execution discipline, and momentum to loosely defined problems and can thrive without a playbook
- Strong communicator and influencer — You can align diverse stakeholders, synthesize complex information, and drive progress without direct authority
- Data-driven mindset — Comfortable defining success metrics, maintaining reporting routines, analysing performance, and using insights to inform decisions
- Bias toward action — Strong problem-solving skills; you move from diagnosis to implementation quickly while managing tradeoffs
- Collaborative and resilient — Highly adaptable in fast-paced, evolving environments; energised by building something new alongside cross-functional teams
- Experience with reverse logistics, recommerce platforms, or resale/liquidation channels
- Familiarity with returns management technology, supply chain optimisation tools, or marketplace operations
- Background in launching or scaling a new business line, P&L, or revenue stream within a larger retail organisation
