You will partner closely with user researchers, product managers, engineering leads, and other design disciplines to uncover the “golden opportunity” where user needs, business viability, and technical feasibility intersect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end product UX design for a major segment of arenaflex’s global product suite, guiding the process from initial research through concepting, detailed design, prototyping, testing, and final implementation.
  • Define and own the UX vision for products, features, or experiences, ensuring strategic alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Champion a user‑centered design approach, rapidly prototyping and iterating with the User Research team to validate concepts against real‑world data.
  • Analyze complex customer problems and craft delightful, measurable solutions that drive business outcomes while maintaining the core simplicity of the arenaflex brand.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and business partners to develop shared visions and translate them into actionable design roadmaps.
  • Influence product strategy by developing design frameworks that simplify user experiences across multiple product lines.
  • Mentor and elevate junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence, continuous feedback, and professional growth.
  • Integrate multidisciplinary expertise—including User Research, Human Factors, Content Strategy, and Instructional Design—into every stage of the design thinking process.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly to executive leadership, stakeholders, and development teams, securing buy‑in and alignment.
  • Measure and report on UX impact, using quantitative and qualitative metrics to demonstrate the value of design innovations.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

  • Exceptional presentation abilities; confidently articulate design concepts to senior leadership and secure constructive feedback.
  • Proven track record of influencing product direction in matrixed, fast‑moving environments.
  • Strong collaborative mindset—able to break down large design challenges into clear, actionable tasks for agile sprint teams.
  • Servant‑leadership style; inspire, mentor, and elevate the entire UX community while championing the voice of the customer.

  • Holistic, systems‑thinking ability to envision product ecosystems and anticipate future user needs.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility paired with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Storytelling prowess—translate complex research findings into compelling design narratives.
  • Data‑driven decision‑making; leverage user research, analytics, and usability testing to inform design direction.
  • Preferred: Experience designing consumer products within large, interconnected ecosystems.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with medical‑device development processes and regulatory considerations.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 10+ years of experience designing mobile applications and customer‑facing experiences, with a focus on health‑tech or consumer‑grade products.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments, leading cross‑functional design initiatives.
