Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls, respond to walk‑in visitors, and manage email correspondence with a courteous and solution‑focused approach.
  • Process and verify owner documents, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal policies.
  • Educate the public on arenaflex’s core services, including Commercial, Residential, Business Personal Property (BPP), Property Records Exemptions, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly, escalating complex cases to senior staff when necessary.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support various arenaflex divisions, contributing to accurate appraisal outcomes.
  • Assist with mailroom duties: opening, sorting, scanning, and distributing correspondence efficiently.
  • Maintain meticulous records of interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve service workflows, share best practices, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, staying current on policy updates, technology tools, and industry trends.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; additional education in business administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to ask insightful questions that uncover the root cause of customer concerns.
  • Strong time‑management skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both on the telephone and face‑to‑face.
  • Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 20 pounds, and perform occasional bending or reaching.
  • Successful completion of a standardized skill test administered by arenaflex.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (reading and speaking) to serve a diverse community.
  • Prior experience in customer service, appraisal, tax office environments, or other office settings.
  • Familiarity with property tax terminology, appraisal processes, or GIS platforms.
  • Experience using CRM software or ticketing systems to track and resolve inquiries.
