Role Overview

As a senior member of the LXD team, you will lead the end‑to‑end design, development, and continuous improvement of digital, blended, and classroom‑based training programs. You will partner with global stakeholders—including Training Delivery, Learner Performance, Operations, Quality, and Global Process Owners—to identify knowledge gaps, translate business needs into compelling learning solutions, and embed data‑driven feedback loops that fuel ongoing performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Create engaging e‑learning modules, interactive simulations, and instructor‑led training (ILT) assets using industry‑standard authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, and Adobe Captivate.
  • Curriculum Lifecycle Management: Own the full curriculum lifecycle—from needs analysis, instructional design, development, implementation, to post‑launch evaluation—ensuring each phase meets arenaflex’s rigorous quality standards.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Provide guidance, coaching, and on‑the‑job training to junior LXDs, apprentices, and cross‑functional contributors, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global teams to define learning objectives, align content with operational goals, and secure executive sponsorship for major learning initiatives.
  • Project Management: Lead multiple medium‑ to large‑scale learning projects simultaneously, employing proven project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to meet timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Data‑Driven Improvement: Embed analytics, surveys, and performance metrics within learning solutions; analyze results to generate actionable insights that drive curriculum refinements and performance enhancements.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine instructional design processes, templates, and governance frameworks to reduce development cycle time and increase reusability across the organization.
  • Change Management: Lead communication and adoption strategies for new learning initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained engagement across diverse learner populations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex learning initiatives on time and within scope.
  • At least 5 years of experience collaborating cross‑functionally with both technical and non‑technical teams to define learning requirements and drive consensus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using data and metrics to identify process improvement opportunities and implement measurable enhancements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human‑Centered Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience creating digital learning assets with authoring tools such as Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, or Captivate, and a solid understanding of adult learning principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience delivering end‑to‑end learning solutions and presenting results to senior leadership, demonstrating strategic influence.
  • Strong background in driving systematic process improvements, with documented outcomes that improved efficiency or learner performance.
  • 3 + years of experience managing stakeholders in large, matrixed environments, navigating competing priorities with diplomacy and clarity.
  • 3 + years of change management experience, including the design and execution of communication plans, adoption metrics, and post‑implementation support.
  • Professional certifications such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance), PMP, or Agile Scrum Master are a plus.

  • Instructional Design Mastery: Ability to apply ADDIE, SAM, or similar frameworks to craft learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, and measurable.
  • Technical Fluency: Proficiency with e‑learning authoring tools, LMS administration (e.g., Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors), and basic multimedia production (audio/video editing).
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong quantitative skills to interpret learner data, performance metrics, and business KPIs, translating insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences, from investigators to senior executives.
