Physician - Virtual Health Assessment - Bilingual in Spanish (Part-time)

About the role: This is a remote, part-time position, 20+ hours weekly. Hours of Operation (shifts will occur within this window of time): Monday - Thursday 8am - 8pm EST Friday & Saturday 8am - 6pm EST Requirements: Provide 20-29 hours of coverage per week. Minimum shift length is 4 hours You will deliver quality care to patients on Oscar's platforms via phone and messaging. You will also serve as a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers. Responsibilities: Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Other duties as assigned Requirements: Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine MD or DO from an accredited medical school Fluent in Spanish Must be licensed for full practice in TN and at least two of the following: MO, MS, AL, FL Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice. Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement Bonus points: 2+ years of Telemedicine experience IMLCC compact Physician license or eligible to apply Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
