This role is designed for a true hunter—someone who thrives in new business development, displacing incumbent materials, and converting prospects to innovative, sustainable solutions. What you will do Develop and implement sales strategies to strengthen UPM’s presence in the North American label market Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities with both existing and new customers Manage and grow large, complex accounts, including budgeting, forecasting and contract negotiation Work closely with UPM sales teams, supply chain, technical sales and customer service to support onboarding and ongoing customer experience Apply UPM’s pricing and service-level policies and maintain accurate documentation of agreements Provide regular updates on sales activities, KPIs and market trends Support UPM’s brand and product awareness in the marketplace Collect and share market insights, customer needs and value chain feedback to support product and service development Use digital tools (CRM, analytics and social media) to support sales effectiveness and customer engagement Promote UPM’s commitment to sustainability in all interactions Who you are You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience You have experience in outside sales in areas such as food packaging, pressure-sensitive labels, adhesive materials or consumables You have experience in new business development and working in competitive environments You are comfortable with prospecting, negotiation and closing activities You may have experience working with national or regional hospitality brands, food distributors or OEMs You are proactive and take initiative in your work You demonstrate persistence and motivation to achieve goals You are able to manage a sales pipeline in a structured and organized way This is what we offer to you A meaningful job: We have an inspiring purpose “We renew the everyday for a future beyond fossils”.
