[Remote] Software Engineering Apprentice - US - LUNARTECH

The Software Engineering Apprentice role involves building and shipping production-grade software, collaborating with teams to deliver user-facing experiences and scalable services.
Responsibilities
- Building and iterating on web product surfaces (dashboards, internal tooling, customer-facing apps)
- Designing and implementing backend services and APIs (auth, data access, integrations, workflows)
- Working with data pipelines and application data models to support AI-enabled features
- Improving performance, reliability, observability, and developer experience
- Contributing to deployment and release workflows (CI/CD), and operating what you ship
Skills
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to ship end-to-end features
- Experience building modern web applications (frontend + backend)
- Comfortable designing APIs, data models, and service boundaries
- Familiarity with cloud/deployment basics, CI/CD, and production operations (monitoring, logging, incident response)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers and non-engineers
- High ownership: you can take a problem from ambiguity to a reliable, tested deliverable
- Bonus: experience with AI-enabled product features, evaluation workflows, or data pipelines
