The Business Development Consultant will focus on growing the client base by identifying new leads, nurturing relationships, and converting interest into booked trips, while collaborating with the travel planning team to align sales efforts with offerings.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new leads
- Nurture relationships with prospective travelers and partners
- Convert interest into booked trips and long-term clients
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and social platforms
- Present tailored travel solutions
- Advise clients on packages that align with their preferences and budgets
- Collaborate with the travel planning team to align sales efforts with current offerings
- Track performance in CRM or similar tools
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs
- Work independently and manage a pipeline of opportunities
- Contribute to revenue targets through consultative selling
Skills
- Proficiency in New Business Development and Lead Generation, including prospecting, qualification, and pipeline management
- Strong Consulting and Communication skills, with the ability to understand client needs and present clear, compelling solutions
- Experience with Business Planning, including setting sales goals, forecasting, and reporting on performance metrics
- Background in travel, hospitality, or related service industries is highly beneficial
- Comfort with remote work tools, CRM systems, and digital communication platforms
- Proven track record in consultative sales or client-facing roles, ideally in a commission or target-driven environment
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a fully remote setting
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field is a plus
