[Remote] Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Engineer, Sr.

They are seeking a Senior Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Engineer to lead the design and implementation of Zero Trust architectures, ensuring cybersecurity solutions are integrated within Intelligence Community environments.
Responsibilities
- Supporting advanced IC architectures involving conditional access, micro-segmentation, visibility analytics
- Guiding senior executives (CISO, CIO, etc.) on cybersecurity maturation
- Managing teams to implement roadmap capabilities and solutions
- Define strict, rule-based policies that grant access on a per-session, need-to-know basis
- Verify device compliance (e.g., up-to-date antivirus, OS patching) prior to connection
- Hide applications, IP addresses, and infrastructure from public view and unauthorized discovery
- Monitor ongoing session context and revoke privileges in near real-time if conditions change
Skills
- HS Diploma or GED
- Leadership experience of Zero Trust strategies for federal and IC organizations
- 7+ years experience in IT operations or Cybersecurity within the IC
- Experience designing Zero Trust solutions in alignment with industry standards like NIST 800–207; Supporting advanced IC architectures involving conditional access, micro-segmentation, visibility analytics
- Experience in innovative security-focused AI, NGFW, and machine learning applications
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP Cloud cybersecurity expertise
- CISSP, CISM, CEH required
- Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum
- Strong problem-solving and design skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- Ability to work in a self-guided manner; excellent organizational skills
- Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance
