[Remote] Business Development Manager, Virtual Production

Foundry is a global company dedicated to advancing the art and technology of visual experience, renowned for its software in the creative industries. They are seeking a Business Development Manager, Virtual Production to drive the adoption and commercial success of Nuke Stage by leveraging industry knowledge and managing key relationships throughout the Americas and ANZ.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage new & existing relationships and industry knowledge within virtual production to identify projects and map towards Nuke Stage engagement
  • Network with the key stakeholders throughout the virtual production ecosystem to increase Nuke Stage’s visibility, including with stages, integrators and productions
  • Build relationships with key personas, including: stage leadership, virtual production operators and production VFX Supes
  • Capture key insights for developing compelling value propositions and the ROI metrics required to successfully drive Nuke Stage adoption
  • Work closely with the Nuke Stage Creative Specialist and Product Manager to ensure demos are compelling and evaluations progress successfully
  • Manage technical evaluations with key accounts, identifying potential workflow friction and leveraging the Nuke Stage Creative Specialist and Product Manager to solve and prove production readiness
  • Lead the pre-sales technical relationship between prospects and Foundry, while driving towards and executing commercial sales
  • Be Nuke Stage’s technical eyes & ears in the field, capable of engaging in technical discussions, asking the right questions, providing workflow guidance, identifying customer needs and communicating any gaps back to Product leadership

Skills

  • Meaningful understanding of the main technical requirements and workflows for virtual production
  • Existing network or experience working directly with top Virtual Production studios
  • Background in onset production or technical VFX roles
  • Hands-on experience with Nuke Stage, Pixera, Disguise, or Unreal Engine
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical features into clear business value
  • Preference is based in the greater Los Angeles area
  • Some travel required
