Key Responsibilities
- SCADA System Management: Own the planning, design, configuration, and continuous improvement of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) equipment and software.
- Data Access & Reporting: Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines that provide real‑time insights to end‑users and operational teams.
- Cybersecurity Operations: Implement and enforce security controls for industrial control systems (ICS) using OpenVPN, VLAN segmentation, and certificate‑based authentication.
- Web & Virtual Services: Build, deploy, and support web‑based and virtual services that monitor and control environmental systems.
- Functional Support: Partner closely with the Tasks and Support groups to address urgent tickets, system outages, and performance bottlenecks.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: Create detailed change‑control records, standard operating procedures, and knowledge‑base articles to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Field Collaboration: Occasionally travel to on‑site locations to assist with hardware installations, network troubleshooting, and emergency response.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of hands‑on experience with SCADA systems, industrial automation, or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering clear, courteous customer support.
- Proficiency in network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, switches, routers).
- Solid understanding of building‑automation systems, including chilled water, boiler, compressed air, HVAC, and lighting controls.
