Role Overview

This position is a part‑time, fully remote contractor focused on delivering top‑tier customer service and administrative support to arenaflex’s tax clients. You will handle inbound and outbound communications, maintain accurate client records, and collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues efficiently. No prior tax experience is required—arenaflex provides comprehensive training, empowering you to succeed from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and text messages from clients, providing clear, courteous, and accurate information about tax‑related services.
  • Initiate outbound outreach to follow up on pending items, confirm receipt of documents, and ensure timely completion of client requests.
  • Perform precise data‑entry tasks, updating client profiles, uploading documents to the secure client portal, and maintaining organized records.
  • Document each client interaction in the CRM system, noting key details, next steps, and any required follow‑up actions.
  • Prepare and attach necessary forms, PDFs, and supporting documents to client files, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate with tax specialists, compliance teams, and other support staff to resolve complex client issues promptly.
  • Identify patterns in client inquiries and suggest process improvements to enhance overall service efficiency.
  • Maintain a professional, patient, and solution‑oriented demeanor, even during high‑volume periods.
  • Participate in weekly team huddles and training sessions to stay current on product updates, policy changes, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Computer proficiency: Advanced skills with Windows, Microsoft Office (especially Outlook), Adobe Acrobat or comparable PDF tools, and file‑management systems. Candidates must pass a Computer Proficiency Test.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call‑center environment.

Training & Development

arenaflex invests in your growth from the outset. You will receive a structured one‑week onboarding program, compensated at $15 per hour for four hours each day (Monday‑Friday). This training covers:

  • Use of our proprietary CRM and client portal tools.
  • Best practices for phone etiquette, email correspondence, and text communication.
  • Compliance fundamentals and data‑privacy standards.

Upon successful completion, your hourly rate increases to $17, reflecting the added expertise you bring to the role.
