Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join our Customer Service Virtual Assistant team on a part‑time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests traveling through our ticket counters, baggage claim areas, and reservation desks. You will embody arenaflex’s friendly spirit, resolve inquiries quickly, and help passengers enjoy a smooth, stress‑free travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, professional assistance to both internal and external guests, ensuring every interaction reflects arenaflex’s core values.
  • Operate a modern reservation and ticketing system to process bookings, check‑ins, baggage handling, and payment transactions accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit cards, travel vouchers, and promotional coupons while maintaining strict adherence to financial controls.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist walk‑in guests with flight information, schedule changes, and special requests.
  • Resolve complex issues such as oversold flights, delayed or cancelled itineraries, lost or damaged baggage, and other service disruptions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of arenaflex policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports, incident logs, and customer feedback forms as directed by supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members across the ground operations division to achieve departmental goals and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, performance evaluations, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including shift coverage, special projects, and seasonal peak‑time support.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States (arenaflex does not provide sponsorship).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly over the phone, in person, and via digital platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help guests and resolve problems.
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items up to 70 lb regularly and to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in airline customer service, hospitality, or a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems (e.g., Saber, Amadeus) or similar ticketing platforms.
  • Experience handling cash transactions and reconciling daily cash drawers.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics during training (80 %+ pass rate).
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols related to ground operations.
