Summary

Reporting to the Team Lead of Data Management, the Data Manager will oversee the data management aspects of clinical trials, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of crucial information.

Responsibilities

• Working in close collaboration with the Clinical project managers on the data management aspects of a clinical trial
• Development, validation and maintenance of project specific databases
• Design data transfer specifications together with our different customers
• Programming and validation of data exports using SQL, R, …
• Guarantee the quality and timely delivery of each data transfer

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in science (biomedical science, pharmaceuticals, biology, medicine, bioinformatics) or equivalent data management experience
• Having a PhD is a plus, but not required

Main Requirements

• Data management experience, preferably in a pharma or biotech environment
• Programming skills (SQL)
• Accurate and detail oriented
• Affinity with IT
• Strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills, out-of-the-box thinking
• Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, organizational and time management)

It's Great, But Not Required, If You Have Experience With:

• R, LIS systems
• Operating in a CAP, CLIA, GCP environment and have a working knowledge of FDA guidelines related to clinical trials

Working Conditions

• Remote in Europe or hybrid from Antwerp, Belgium
