About the Role

As a Director, Strategic Learning Consultant, you will be at the forefront of creating transformative learning experiences that align with our company's purpose and objectives. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to diagnose workplace skill gaps, design relevant learning solutions, and measure their effectiveness. This role demands a human-centered approach to learning design, a keen understanding of business needs, and the ability to discern between issues that require learning interventions and those that need broader solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Learning Consultancy:
  • Provide expert consultancy and advisory services to internal partners on learning and development strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Guide clients in creating transformative learning products, diagnosing problems, and designing relevant solutions with a measurement strategy to determine ROI.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management:
  • Foster and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to identify workplace skill gaps and evaluate learning opportunities.
  • Advise our learning community on creating effective learning products for internal consumers.
  • Maintain a pulse on learning needs and learner sentiment within the organization.
  • Holistic Learning Solutions:
  • Approach business problems with a holistic perspective, envisioning fully blended solutions that include experience and exposure.
  • Leverage Human-Centered Design to create impactful learning experiences, putting the learner at the center of design.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Procure and manage external learning development vendors to ensure effective design, implementation, and evaluation of learning products.
  • Act as an intermediary with learning delivery partners to enable seamless delivery of learning products and services.
  • Problem Diagnosis:
  • Diagnose workplace skill gaps and identify opportunities for learning interventions.

Qualifications & Requirements To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a learning and development leader/consultant.
  • Proven expertise in design thinking/human-centered design.
  • Experience in consulting with and advising stakeholders.
  • A track record of working with third-party vendors to develop custom programs.
  • Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE), matrixed learning organization, managing key projects, and leading a significant component of the leadership/learning agenda.
  • Depth of subject matter expertise, industry best practices, and global trends relevant to workforce development and employee experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with autonomy.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • A salary range of $143,600 - $164,700, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
