Senior Tableau Analyst/Developer
You will design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports to transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights.
- Responsibilities
- Design and deploy interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Integrate data from diverse sources including SQL Server, EDWs, CSV files, and HL7 formats.
- Ensure all reporting activities comply with HIPAA regulations and safeguard PHI.
- Collaborate with engineers and business users to translate requirements into effective visualizations.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and accessibility while maintaining technical documentation.
- Required Skills
- 6 years of experience in data visualization and reporting, with 4 years focused on Tableau development.
- Expert level knowledge of HL7 messaging standards and their application in reporting.
- Strong SQL skills, including building complex queries at the command line for comparative data analysis.
- Extensive experience designing and building 3rd Normal Form data structures in SQL Server.
- Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and secure handling of healthcare data/PHI.
- Experience working with or supporting state agencies or healthcare/health insurance organizations.
- Proven ability to cleanse raw datasets and work within Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience creating and modifying reports in Tableau to enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is desired.
