[Remote] Social Media Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EVERSANA INTOUCH® is a global marketing agency focused on the life sciences industry. They are seeking a Social Media Manager who will lead social media initiatives, serve as counsel to account staff and clients, and manage projects while collaborating with various teams to achieve marketing objectives in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as social media counsel to account staff and clients in collaboration with the social team lead
- Manage workload across multiple projects for self and junior staff, taking the lead on complex initiatives
- Conduct social listening and influencer research, derive insights from data, and present findings to internal teams and clients
- Display a deep understanding of the broader digital ecosystem and cross-collaborate with other subject matter experts
- Educate peers and clients on social media best practices, trends, and technologies
- Act as the primary subject matter expert and project owner for social media, helping clients achieve marketing objectives within the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
- All other duties as assigned
Skills
- Comfortable explaining the role of social media within an integrated marketing mix
- Ability to brainstorm about social media solutions in a highly regulated industry
- Experience exploring new social media platforms
- Lead development and execution of social media initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to account staff and external clients
- Strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to navigate the complexities of social media in a regulated environment like the pharmaceutical industry
