[Remote] Healthcare Payer and Life Science AI Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100. They are currently seeking a Healthcare Payer and Life Science AI Architect to drive AI Industry Solutions for the Healthcare Payer segment, defining solution vision and partnering with C-suite leaders across major health systems. This high-impact role is responsible for driving growth, developing differentiated offerings, and guiding strategic programs to build AI-native solutions across payer domains.
Responsibilities
- Set the industry strategy for Healthcare Payer AI solutions and define a multi-year roadmap
- Develop and enhance AI solution offerings in areas including: Digital front door & patient experience, Risk and compliance, Cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernization, Claims processing transformation
- Drive growth by leading solution development, supporting sales teams, and winning complex, multi-tower deals
- Engage Provider C-suite leaders as a trusted advisor on major programs
- Lead solution development for bids, ensuring offerings are differentiated, scalable, and executable
- Collaborate across consulting, delivery, engineering, and product teams to bring integrated solutions to market
- Strengthen alliances with key partners (Epic, Oracle Health, Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, cybersecurity vendors, Google, Leading AI players)
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of AI leaders
- Develop sales collateral for all solutions and services catering to healthcare payers
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in designing and developing AI/ML solutions
- 10 years of experience in healthcare Payer technology, consulting, or systems integration
- 8+ years' experience working with payer operations, AI, digital transformation, and payer ecosystems
- Ability to communicate technology in business terms
- Deep understanding of payer operations, AI, digital transformation, and payer ecosystems
- Demonstrated success shaping and being part of a team winning large-scale transformation or managed services deals ($10M+)
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage CEOs, CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, and clinical leaders
- Experience leading cross-functional global teams and driving innovation at scale
- Experience participating in key industry events, be a moderator and speaker, as needed
- Set Technical solution strategy aligned with an opportunity sales strategy
- Provide feedback and new ideas about improvement in solution value proposition
- Develop new AI solution approaches with respect to local market dynamics and competition
- Be knowledgeable of Healthcare Payer industry trends and new developments
