[Remote] SEO Content Specialist

Lithia & Driveway is a leading company in the automotive and electric vehicle industries, and they are seeking an SEO Content Specialist to create engaging and SEO-optimized content. The role involves website optimization, developing SEO strategies, and collaborating with various teams to enhance organic visibility and drive traffic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize websites for both mobile and desktop
• Identify common search trends using industry tools and create content to boost organic visibility
• Research, write, and edit SEO-focused content, including meta titles, descriptions, headlines, and image tags
• Monitor competitor activities and search trends to gain insights and propose innovative strategies
• Partner with Paid Media/SEM teams, Marketing Managers, and vendor partners to align strategies and build custom content
• Conduct regular audits to identify content/keyword gaps and maintain website accuracy
• Stay updated on Lithia events, OEM product releases, and vehicle refreshes to propose relevant content
• Lead and mentor Online Content Specialists, develop growth plans, and foster collaboration
• Own strategic campaigns, initiate seasonal content, and develop efficient processes to ensure effective communication

Skills

• 2–5 years of professional SEO experience, with agency experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on delivering high-quality work
• Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including UTM tracking and web analytics (Google Analytics)
• Ability to design, edit, and optimize images for web performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership experience mentoring teammates and presenting in team or stakeholder meetings
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
• Experience using AI-powered SEO tools strongly preferred
