[Remote] Business Systems Sr. Analyst, HR Time & Attendance

They are seeking a Senior Analyst for IT Business Systems focused on HR Time & Attendance, responsible for designing and delivering HR technology solutions while collaborating with HR, Payroll, and IT to optimize data and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Participating in the design, specification, and delivery of HR technology solutions, taking into consideration functionality, data requirements and security, integration, infrastructure, and performance
- Working on medium and complex operations support tickets and large complex enhancements
- Possessing knowledge about industry-wide business processes, organizational policies and procedures, timekeeping, and payroll business processes
- Spending time working on projects to continuously enhance current systems and infrastructure and to deliver new solutions to optimize HR data, process, and service delivery
- Establishing a strong working relationship with key business functional leaders and extended team members
- Gaining an understanding of functional requirements and contributing to the establishment of technical specifications to achieve those requirements
- Translating technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Working with cross-functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver quality solutions on time and budget
- Ensuring on-time, quality, and in-budget delivery of IT HR projects, in alignment with established project plans; defining mitigation plans for 'at-risk' tasks
- Working across multiple technical and functional disciplines and applications to synthesize conceptual ideas as well as implement technical solutions
- Advising and supporting leadership and Program/Project Managers on technical solutions for problems
- Working well within agile, waterfall, and hybrid frameworks
- Defining and documenting technical requirements that will effectively deliver the business solution needed
- Supporting the establishment of effective test strategies and plans
- Troubleshooting technical and non-technical issues and providing resolution
- Providing design and development guidance to developers, functional resources, and testers
- Documenting functional and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with process, infrastructure, security, and data needs
- Creating architecture diagrams and presentation materials to communicate designs
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 5+ Years of experience with IT HR application development, support, and maintenance, including upgrades, troubleshooting, technical design, and solutions (demonstrated experience with the specific applications in the incumbent's area of responsibility)
- 2+ Years configuring and supporting the Workforce Software Time and Attendance Application
- Strong analytical skills and ability to design and document technical specifications based on functional specifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of HR and Security systems and technical landscape infrastructure, and hands-on experience with integration design and development
- Good foundational understanding of at least 2 HR functions, their processes, and data
- Proven ability to work with HR/business partners and IT to define business requirements and technical specifications
- Good ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven business relationship management (BRM) skills
- Proficiency with the MS suite of products (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, Project)
- Be self-directed, fast-paced, collaborative, results-oriented, and able to swiftly adapt to change
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to navigate and work effectively in a dynamic, frequently changing environment
- Ability to work under tight deadlines at a fast pace
- Strong attention to detail
- 2+ Years of Human Resources functional experience
