[Remote] Senior AWS API development/ Integrations Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Application Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain AWS API services and integration solutions
- Implement enhancements and defect fixes for existing applications and integrations
- Participate in solution design and technical discussions
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations
- Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests
- Project Delivery and Platform Enhancements
- Support Digital Commerce initiatives and other Enterprise Applications project work
- Contribute to platform enhancement and modernization efforts
- Assist with technical debt reduction and code quality improvements
- Support delivery of integration-related business initiatives
- AWS Platform Support
- Develop and support AWS Lambda-based services
- Troubleshoot production and non-production issues
- Support deployment and operational activities across AWS environments
- Assist with platform reliability, scalability, and performance improvements
- Operational Excellence
- Review and improve monitoring and alerting configurations
- Assist with operational visibility and observability improvements
- Support incident investigation and root cause analysis activities
- Contribute to operational documentation and support processes
- DevOps and Automation
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Contribute to GitHub Actions workflows and related tooling
- Assist with automation efforts that improve team productivity and operational efficiency

- Strong software development experience using JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience developing and supporting REST APIs
- Experience working with distributed systems and integration solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience with AWS Lambda
- Experience with AWS API Gateway
- Experience with CloudWatch
- Experience with S3
- Experience with IAM
- Experience with event-driven architectures
