As an Account Executive, you will drive new business sales, manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, and ensure excellent customer service while developing long-term business relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business sales while managing the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Regularly meet or exceed your quarterly quota
  • Conduct effective discovery calls with prospects
  • Deliver dynamic and engaging presentations and product demonstrations remotely and in person
  • Build a pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities within your territory
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required
  • Ensure excellent service and support to prospects and customers by creating long-term business relationships
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Utilize Salesforce to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account, and effectively manage your territory

Skills

  • 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability and desire to work in a challenging and competitive industry
  • A risk-taker with a robust work ethic and a hunter mentality
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with a small sales team in a startup environment
  • A competitive, passionate, and enthusiastic personality
  • Organization skills
  • Previous work experience with Salesforce.com CRM is a plus
  • Prior cybersecurity sales experience is a plus
