[Remote] Remote Tax Supervisor (public accounting)

The role involves building relationships with clients, mentoring staff, and engaging in a mix of tax engagements including compliance and planning opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients and mentor staff
- Engage in a broad mix of tax engagements involving individuals, partnerships, S corporations, corporations, and trusts and estates
- Provide thoughtful tax guidance and help develop the next generation of tax professionals
- Manage deadlines and serve as a trusted resource for both clients and team members
- Participate in compliance, planning opportunities, research projects, and complex tax matters
Skills
- 3 to 10 years of public accounting experience
- Experience in a leadership role through reviewing returns
- Experience managing deadlines
- Experience serving as a trusted resource for clients and team members
- Ability to build relationships with business owners and high-net-worth individuals
- Experience providing thoughtful tax guidance
- Experience mentoring staff
- Experience with a broad mix of tax engagements involving individuals, partnerships, S corporations, corporations, and trusts and estates
- Exposure to planning opportunities, research projects, and complex tax matters
- Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills
- CPA license
- Experience as an EA
- CPA candidates with strong public accounting backgrounds
