[Remote] Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Helic & Co. is seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services. The role focuses on ensuring system scalability, reliability, and security while supporting cloud migration and optimization initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud environments
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Support cloud migration projects and optimize existing cloud resources
- Automate deployment pipelines and operational processes
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and system administration
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
- Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, CloudWatch)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
