Area Sales OfficerArea Sales OfficerJob Summary:** The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and channel partners to drive business growth for our pharmaceutical products. Job Responsibilities:** * Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximize product reach and penetration.
  • Conduct regular visits to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities to promote Piramal Pharma's product portfolio.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on product features, benefits, and clinical data.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the territory.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimize the distribution network and channel partners.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative documents in a timely manner.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and product launches.
  • Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and the healthcare landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and build strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive for success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Familiarity with sales force automation (SFA) tools is an advantage.
