Whitewater's Performance Services department is looking for a candidate to join us in the following role: POSITION: Construction Advisor, Performance Services SHIFT: Full time 40 hours/ week LOCATION: USA (Remote) DEPARTMENT: Performance Services REPORTS TO: Service Manager PURPOSE The Construction Supervisor – Waterpark Services is responsible for leading onsite field execution of waterpark maintenance and refurbishment projects across the United States, with support activities in Canada as required. This role has direct oversight of onsite labor teams and is hands-on in the execution of services including waterslide maintenance, fiberglass repairs, gelcoat application, surface preparation, and steel painting. The Construction Supervisor ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with WhiteWater quality standards. This position is ideal for a technically skilled leader with strong field experience, coatings/composites expertise, and proven ability to manage crews in active construction and operational park environments. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for the following: Field Leadership & Labor Oversight Directly supervise onsite labor teams, including WhiteWater field staff and subcontractors. Assign daily tasks, manage crew productivity, and ensure adherence to project schedules. Act as the primary onsite point of contact for field execution. Waterslide & Structural Maintenance Execution Perform and oversee waterslide maintenance activities, including: Fiberglass surface preparation Gelcoat application and finishing Repair of slide sections and joints Oversee and participate in steel structure surface preparation and painting. Ensure coatings and materials are applied in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Quality & Safety Management Enforce all safety protocols, job hazard analyses, and site-specific safety plans. Ensure compliance with U.S. and site-specific regulations, including park operational requirements. Inspect completed work to confirm quality, finish, and durability standards are met. Implement ISO 9001-Aligned Systems and Process Discipline Potentially position the role as operating within a Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 Require strict adherence to SOPs, QA/QC checklists, and standardized reporting Emphasize documentation that is complete, consistent, and audit-ready Project Coordination Work closely with the Service Manager and Construction Manager on planning, manpower loading, and execution sequencing. Report daily progress, issues, and material requirements. Support schedule adjustments in response to weather, park operations, or site constraints. Technical Execution & Training Provide hands-on technical guidance to crew members related to: Gelcoat application techniques Surface preparation and coating practices Equipment and tool use Support training and development of less experienced field personnel. Customer & Site Interaction Interact professionally with park operators, maintenance teams, and site representatives. Represent WhiteWater positively while onsite at customer facilities. Assist with addressing client questions related to scope, sequencing, and workmanship. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate daily logs including labor hours, material usage, and progress photos. Support completion of safety documentation, punch lists, and close-out reports. Protect confidentiality of customer information, pricing, and proprietary processes. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction, coatings, composites, or industrial maintenance. Demonstrated hands-on experience with: Fiberglass repair and gelcoat application Industrial or specialty coatings Steel surface preparation and painting Experience supervising field crews in active jobsite conditions. Proficiency with basic reporting tools and mobile jobsite documentation. Willingness to travel for extended periods and work flexible schedules, including shutdowns and night work when required. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS (VALUED ASSETS) Applicants with one or more of the following certifications are strongly encouraged to apply: Certified Composites Technician AMPP (formerly NACE) Coating Inspector – Level 1, 2, or 3 SSPC Protective Coatings Specialist Confined Space, Fall Protection, OSHA 10/30 (or equivalent) COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Strong hands-on leader with the ability to direct and motivate field crews. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills for both crew direction and client interaction. Organized, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple onsite priorities. Safety-focused mindset with the confidence to enforce standards. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field. Professional, reliable, and respectful in diverse work environments.
