Position Overview

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and families seeking information about our services. You will handle inbound inquiries via live chat, providing accurate, compassionate, and timely responses. This role is fully remote, with a structured training period followed by a consistent full‑time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to live chat inquiries from clients, families, and caregivers using approved scripts and guidelines.
  • Research client questions, verify information, and deliver clear, accurate answers regarding services, benefits, and eligibility.
  • Document each interaction in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring compliance with privacy and quality standards.
  • Assist callers who are unable to navigate automated voice response systems by resetting personal identification numbers and guiding them through self‑service options.
  • Escalate complex or urgent issues to senior staff while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on policy changes, service offerings, and industry best practices to provide informed support.
  • Maintain a high level of attentiveness, typing speed (minimum 25 WPM), and computer literacy throughout each shift.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to continuously improve service quality.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and compassionately.
  • Basic computer proficiency; comfortable navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts, including Saturdays (11 am – 7 pm EST) and occasional holidays.
  • Preferred: Experience or familiarity with serving individuals with disabilities, and bilingual abilities.
