Position Overview

arenaflex is currently hiring a motivated and customer-focused Customer Sales and Service Representative to join our high-performing remote contact center team. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service while identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services that enhance their connectivity experience. You will handle inbound calls, resolve inquiries, manage billing and account issues, and contribute directly to monthly sales and retention goals — all while delivering the kind of authentic, human-centered support that has made arenaflex an industry leader.

This is a remote position based in the United States, with occasional in-person training sessions and team meetings. The ideal candidate is a natural communicator, a consultative seller, and a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Sales and Service Representative at arenaflex, you will take ownership of a wide variety of customer-facing responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Inbound Customer Support: Answering incoming calls from customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, responding to a broad range of requests related to installation, disconnection, upgrades, service changes, and general account inquiries.
  • Relationship Building: Instilling confidence and loyalty in our customers through active listening, empathy, and a consultative approach that demonstrates a deep understanding of arenaflex’s products, services, and value proposition.
  • Proactive Sales: Identifying customer needs and skillfully offering relevant arenaflex products and services that meet those needs, contributing to monthly sales goals and consistently delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigating and resolving customer inquiries and disputes on a variety of topics including service, billing, rates, adjustments, and policy issues, ensuring every customer feels heard, valued, and satisfied with the resolution.
  • Product Expertise: Responding knowledgeably to customer questions about arenaflex’s full suite of products and services, including wireless, internet, home entertainment, and emerging technology solutions.
  • Order Accuracy: Verifying the accuracy and completeness of service orders, and making corrections or changes as needed to ensure customer accounts are properly maintained.
  • Collections Support: Negotiating the collection of overdue bills in a respectful and professional manner, balancing company objectives with a commitment to positive customer relationships.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Working evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts as determined by the operational needs of the business.
  • Systems and Tools Management: Managing multiple internal systems, databases, and digital work tools while simultaneously engaging on the phone with customers, demonstrating comfort and proficiency with technology.

Preferred Qualifications

While we welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds, the following qualifications will help you thrive in this role:

  • A related Associate Degree, or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant customer-facing work experience.
  • Prior customer service experience in a call center or contact center environment.
  • Previous collections experience, including the ability to handle sensitive financial conversations professionally.
  • Demonstrated experience selling products and services, ideally in a telecommunications, technology, or subscription-based environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a track record of exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, with detail, precision, and professionalism.

Work Location and Schedule

This is a remote role, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while staying connected to a supportive, engaged team. You will be expected to maintain a reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace. Candidates must live within 75 miles of the current reporting location for the life of the contract, and must be available to attend occasional in-person trainings, team huddles, and meetings at the office location as required by the business. Scheduled weekly hours are 37.5 hours, with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts.
