[Remote] Fire Alarm Project Manager - Engineering COD132
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JEM Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within their Engineering team. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety compliance
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, internal teams, and regulatory authorities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee project execution and performance
- Monitor risks, manage project documentation, and provide regular project updates
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high client satisfaction
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Mandatory experience with Fire Alarm Projects
- Proven Project Management experience in technical or construction-related environments
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project management methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management tools
- PMP, NICET, SET, OSHA, or similar certifications
- Technical background in installation, engineering, service, or field supervision
- Experience working with inspectors, fire marshals, or regulatory agencies
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
