[Remote] Product Manager, Video Telematics & Application Platform
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Powerfleet is a global leader in the artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) software-as-a-service (SaaS) mobile asset industry. The Product Manager will drive the development and evolution of video-based safety solutions, managing the product lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative applications that leverage AI and telematics technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery efforts by engaging with users to understand how video telematics solutions are applied today, translating insights into prioritized product requirements
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including roadmap development, feature prioritization, and delivery of scalable software solutions
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, validate opportunities, and position differentiated solutions within a competitive landscape
- Define and manage the product backlog for VisionAI and Safety applications, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative video-based applications and features
- Enable go-to-market success by supporting marketing, sales, and customer success teams with product knowledge, positioning, and training
- Develop and maintain product documentation, training materials, and internal resources to ensure global team readiness
- Support product launches, updates, and end-of-life processes, including pricing, packaging, and system updates
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and technology partners, to ensure alignment and successful product adoption
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant qualification
- 5+ years of experience in software or SaaS product management
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex software products
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage effectively with engineering teams
- In-depth knowledge of video-based applications, including software platforms and AI-driven capabilities
- Experience with computer vision, video analytics, telematics, or IoT solutions
- Experience enabling service delivery for video-based solutions
- Demonstrated success driving customer adoption through collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer success teams
