[Remote] Junior Project Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Global Technical Talent is a minority-owned staffing firm supporting Fortune 500 organizations. They are seeking a Junior Project Analyst to support the delivery of POS and Payments programs within IT, working closely with Project Managers and Product Owners to monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Support project planning, execution, and monitoring across one or more IT initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track tasks, dependencies, risk and deliverables
- Help maintain project schedules, documentation and status updates
- Assist in preparing reports and updates
- Support the team in removing impediments and ensuring smooth project flow
- Contribute to release planning and project coordination activities
- Track project milestones against scope and timelines with the Project Manager
Skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical concepts to business users and to communicate business needs to the technical teams
- Adaptable and can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- 1–5 years of project analyst/coordination experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence and presentation tools (Jira being the highest priority)
- Experience with Oracle Retail Xstore POS OR other similar tools
- Understanding of retail operations, in-store technologies, and omnichannel commerce
