[Remote] Scientific Content Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Integra Connect is a value-based, precision medicine company specializing in Health IT and digital health solutions. The Scientific Content Specialist will develop high-quality scientific content and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support life sciences and diagnostics industry partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop scientific publications including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and conference presentations for submission to peer-reviewed journals and medical conferences
- Support market research initiatives by developing materials for advisory boards, market insights meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Create discussion guides, slide decks, and summary reports synthesizing insights from expert advisory panels and market research activities
- Collaborate with Medical, Analytics, Quality Initiative, and Commercial Operations teams to translate complex data and clinical findings into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Partner with internal teams to develop content for internal communications, training materials, and strategic planning documents
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize scientific evidence to support publication strategies and market research objectives
- Support the Commercial Operations team by developing protocols, standard operating procedures, best practice guidelines, and implementation toolkits
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure all deliverables comply with Current Good Publication Practice (cGPP) guidelines, journal requirements, and regulatory standards
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed to support project delivery and relationship development
- Strategically consider how content for healthcare providers and life science companies can be collaborated for strategic purposes
Skills
- Advanced degree in biomedical sciences, public health, epidemiology, or a related field (PhD, MPH, or MS preferred)
- 3-5 years of medical writing experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology settings
- 1-2 years of experience in creating oncology-specific deliverables
- Proficiency in ICJME best practices and ethical standards in reporting research in medical publications
- Demonstrated experience developing scientific publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts) for peer-reviewed journals and medical conferences
- Experience supporting advisory boards, KOL engagements, or market research activities
- Oncology expertise from a scientific, medical, or pharmaceutical background with a basic understanding of the mechanism of oncology, and common therapies
- Experience with Current Good Publication Practice (cGPP) guidelines, publication ethics standards, and ICMJE authorship criteria
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with reference management software (EndNote) preferred
- Travel required (20% - 30%)
- This position requires candidates to reside in either the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones
