[Remote] Senior Solution Consultant, Operation Research Lead (Supply Chain Saas Solutions)

Kinaxis is a global leader in modern supply chain orchestration, and they are seeking a Senior Solution Consultant, Operation Research Lead to support their innovative Kinaxis Maestro product. The role involves configuring and implementing solutions based on customer requirements, translating business needs into product specifications, and providing ongoing support to enhance supply chain management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement Kinaxis Maestro product based on customer business requirements, ensuring solution configurations are of high quality, aligned with user stories, and completed in accordance with project timelines
  • Translate business requirements into Kinaxis Maestro product specifications, following Supply Chain Industry trends and best practices
  • Support in developing and enhancing inventory management modules to balance service levels, working capital, and system efficiency
  • Support in developing Production Planning workflows that balance capacity, lead times and demand variability
  • Support Quality Control/Quality Assurance validation and testing of the solution. Provide recommendations to improve future workflows and implementations
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and internal stakeholders to align Kinaxis Maestro solution with system capabilities
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, dashboards and workflows
  • Participate in early innovator programs with a focus on guiding and training end users on how the Maestro solution was configured in relation to their business requirements and how to achieve immediate value from their investment
  • Provide continued support to the customer during the early innovator program of the project to ensure the customer understands the solution and how it integrates into their supply chain management objectives and practices
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to identify improvements and recommend the same to project team for increasing the effectiveness of the developed solution

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Experience working with Maestro or similar Supply chain platform
  • Experience working with Production Planning and inventory management concepts ideally in a software or technology driven environment
  • Experience in SaaS Supply Chain platform projects
  • Knowledge of software extensions and embedded algorithms is an advantage
  • Solution Consultant Level certification/s from Kinaxis is an advantage
  • Experience in data analysis tools like python and SQL is an advantage
  • Passion for working in customer-facing roles, able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies for system implementation
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into entity relationship diagram logic
  • Understanding of the software deployment life cycle; including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment
  • Self-starter who shows initiative in their work and learning and can excel in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to synthesize a high volume of complex information to determine the best course of action
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively in English, both verbally and in writing to bridge technical and business teams
