[Remote] Business Intelligence Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Connexus Credit Union is a member-focused cooperative serving members across all 50 states. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join their Data & Insights team, focusing on building high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports while collaborating with business teams to translate insights into actionable visualizations.
Responsibilities
- Independently builds and maintains KPIs, dashboards, reports, and data related products
- Independently gathers and prepares large, complex datasets from diverse sources
- Performs exploratory and statistical analyses to uncover deeper trends and insights
- Independently answers complex business questions with data-driven and actionable recommendations
- Designs and delivers sophisticated dashboards and custom reports for diverse audiences
- Adapts visualizations to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Leads discussions with business units to deeply understand data needs and proactively suggest solutions
- Educates stakeholders on advanced analytics techniques and best practices for secure data handling
- Represents D&I team on ePMO projects ensuring timely delivery of assignments
- Mentors associate data analysts to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Leads automation projects to streamline complex workflows and improve efficiency
- Serves as a trusted partner to leadership, providing insights that shape strategic decisions and drive operational success
- Partners with data scientists and engineers on multidisciplinary projects
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience is Required
- 5+ years of data, analytics, dashboard, report writing, or Business Intelligence programming and development work is Required
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and Python for advanced analysis is Required
- Experience optimizing queries and workflows in centralized data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) is Required
- Experience creating polished dashboards and visualizations in Power BI is Required
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
