[Remote] Associate Director, Network Engineering DC Core

The Associate Director, Network Engineering is responsible for designing, analyzing, and modifying network components to support customer communication, while also evaluating network performance and conducting architectural design studies.

Responsibilities

• Designs, analyzes, plans and modifies network components supporting customer communication implementation activities
• Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods
• Prepares the analysis of the short-term or long-term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission and signaling
• Conducts network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies
• Develops alternative routing scenarios and changes in required sequence of network activities
• Conducts economic and population growth studies to determine impact on network capacity and development plan projections
• Relates decisions to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s)
• Could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or 6 or more years of Network technical experience
• 2 or more years of management experience
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Master's Degree
