[Remote] Presales Engineer -BFSI - ML/AI

They are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant to drive the positioning of their Agentic Enterprise Platform within the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI) sector, focusing on customer needs and delivering innovative solutions that facilitate digital transformation and AI/ML journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Co-leading Discovery & Solution Design: Co-lead discovery sessions with sales representatives to develop a deep understanding of customer’s existing business challenges, technical environments, and strategic objectives. Subsequently, architect compelling, end-to-end solutions leveraging Siemens Technologies focused around application development, knowledge graph, data analytics, and AI/ML capabilities to address their specific challenges effectively
  • Technical Demonstrations & Proofs of Concept (POCs): Deliver engaging and impactful technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops tailored to customer requirements. Lead and execute successful Proofs of Concept (POCs) that clearly showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions. You will also take part in workshops and proofs of concept, providing pre- and (sometimes) post-sales cycle support activities
  • Technical Expertise & Advocacy: Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, sales teams, and partners. Articulate the technical features, benefits, and competitive advantages of the various components within our platform
  • Trusted Advisor Relationship: Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key technical champions, and executive sponsors, guiding them through their digital transformation and AI journey
  • Proposal & Bid Support: Provide expert technical input for proposals, RFP's and RFI's, ensuring that proposed solutions are technically sound, innovative, and aligned with customer expectations
  • Market & Industry Insight: Acquire, expand, and provide industry expertise. Keep informed about products along with competing products and industry trends within the BFSI+ sectors, continuously refining our approach and solution offerings
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work with your peers, professional services, and sales teams to provide market feedback, contribute to product enhancements, and ensure successful solution delivery
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Siemens at industry events, webinars, and conferences, sharing insights and best practices related to low-code agentic development, data analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation in BFSI+

Skills

  • Proven Presales Experience: 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or solutions engineering role, specifically in the areas of data preparation/ mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or Big Data related analytical solutions. Agentic AI experience is a plus
  • BFSI+ Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industries, including common business processes, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation drivers. Experience in other related verticals (e.g., FinTech, Capital Markets) is a plus
  • Experience with modern Data/ AI/ Analytics Platforms: Such as Alteryx, Data Robot, Dataiku, Tiger Graph, Neo4j, Amazon Neptune etc
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies. Familiarity with integration patterns and technologies (APIs, REST, SOAP, message queues). Knowledge of data fabric and AI fabric concepts. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Proven experience with data mining, manipulation, analytics and ML. Familiarity with Graph technologies
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex business problems and design innovative, scalable, and effective technical solutions. Analytical orientation with the ability to translate business needs into feasible, valuable solutions
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations. Demonstrated history of building effective relationships with customers
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine passion for understanding customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, including working with developers, business analysts, end users, and key stakeholders
  • Proven Technology Adapter: A demonstrated history of quickly learning and applying new technologies
  • Sales Methodologies: Knowledge of sales methodologies, processes, and disciplines such as Challenger and MEDDPICC
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Physics, or related technical fields
  • Advanced Degrees: Master's degree or MBA
  • Certifications: Mendix certifications, Altair certifications, relevant AI/ML or Data/ AI fabric certifications
  • Altair Knowledge: familiarity with Altair solutions, particularly those relevant to data and ML (e.g., Altair Monarch, AI Studio, Graph Studio)
  • Competitive Landscape Knowledge: Familiarity with other low-code platforms (e.g., OutSystems, PowerApps) and AI/ML tools (e.g. Palantir, Alteryx)
  • Domain Specific Experience: Experience with BFSI+ such as fraud, AML, KYC, core banking systems, trading platforms, risk management, claims processing, or regulatory compliance
  • Programming Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for integration or extension purposes
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with deploying and managing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
