[Remote] Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (Revenue)

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, and they are seeking a strategic and analytical finance leader to join the Strategic Finance team. This role will support the growth of Affirm’s Consumer business, influencing revenue and user growth while partnering with key stakeholders to drive performance and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing, influencing product strategy, investment decisions, and go-to-market execution
• Own and evolve user growth, engagement, and monetization models for direct-to-consumer channels; translate insights into actionable strategies and business recommendations
• Develop deep expertise in transactional unit economics and customer lifetime value (LTV), and use these frameworks to guide prioritization and resource allocation
• Lead top-line planning processes, including target setting, forecasting, and performance tracking; deliver clear, concise reporting and insights to executives and senior leadership
• Build and scale automated dashboards, reporting, and analytical frameworks to improve visibility and decision-making across the organization
• Identify key drivers of performance, surface risks and opportunities, and drive accountability against business goals
• Synthesize complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives that inform strategic decisions and align cross-functional stakeholders

Skills

• Proven ability to operate with ownership and influence in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• 10+ years of experience in analytical roles (e.g., strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, or analytics), with demonstrated impact on business outcomes and forecasting
• Player–coach mindset with the ability to dive into complex analyses while leading and developing a team of analysts
• Strong business judgment, with the ability to connect detailed analyses to broader strategic context and executive-level decisions
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams
• Expert in financial modeling; working knowledge of SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma or similar)
• Familiarity with consumer finance and/or direct-to-consumer business models and metrics
• Experience leveraging AI-driven tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to enhance analytical workflows and insight generation
• Prior experience leading small high performing teams
