Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Full‑Time Data Entry & ETL Engineer to join our Supported Hunt Information group. This role is open for both day and night shifts, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analytics and advertising platforms that power arenaflex.com and its suite of partner sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store massive volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product, QA, program managers, and partner operations—to align data solutions with business objectives.
• Implement and optimize ETL workflows using Apache Flink, Apache Airflow, and other industry‑standard tools.
• Work with relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and NoSQL stores (e.g., Cassandra) to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Develop real‑time streaming solutions with Apache Kafka to support low‑latency data consumption.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes on arenaflex Cloud (formerly Azure) and arenaflex Cloud (formerly Google Cloud).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, participating in on‑call rotations to guarantee 24/7 data availability.
• Document data models, pipeline architectures, and operational procedures to foster knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and propose enhancements that improve scalability, reliability, and cost‑efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

• Data Engineering Expertise: Proven experience designing and operating large‑scale data pipelines, with a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Hadoop, and related big‑data technologies is a plus.
• ETL Tool Experience: Hands‑on experience with Apache Flink, Apache Airflow, or similar orchestration platforms.
• Streaming & Messaging: Demonstrated ability to build real‑time data flows using Apache Kafka.
• Container & Orchestration Skills: Experience deploying Docker containers and managing Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments.
• Cloud Platform Knowledge: Practical experience with arenaflex Cloud (Azure) and arenaflex Cloud (Google Cloud) services, including storage, compute, and networking.
