Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Remote Customer Support team as Part‑Time Service Technicians. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers who rely on arenaflex’s beverage dispensing equipment to deliver chilled, high‑quality drinks. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure that all refrigeration units operate within optimal parameters.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while supporting customers across the Tampa, Florida region and beyond. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $27, a flexible schedule of 8 hours per week, and the opportunity to develop specialized technical skills in a fast‑growing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Service Delivery: Perform mechanical repairs and light refurbishments on beverage dispensing equipment, adhering to arenaflex’s standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of equipment failures, including refrigeration system malfunctions, pump issues, and electronic control errors.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and component replacement to keep all refrigeration units in peak condition.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide courteous, professional, and solution‑focused support to customers via phone, video chat, and email, ensuring a positive service experience.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record service activities, parts used, and resolution steps in arenaflex’s service management system for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the on‑site service crew, logistics coordinators, and product development teams to coordinate parts shipments, schedule on‑site visits when necessary, and share feedback on product performance.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of refrigerants, electrical components, and heavy equipment, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to respond to service calls on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) and during peak periods, ensuring uninterrupted service for arenaflex’s customers.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for occasional on‑site visits).
  • Demonstrated interest in mechanical repair and troubleshooting of beverage dispensing or refrigeration equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
