Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist supporting our Packaging Strategy team, you will take on a variety of critical responsibilities that directly influence the success of our brand portfolio. Your primary duties will include:

  • Building and Maintaining Data Frameworks: Develop comprehensive data requirements, taxonomy structures, and master data specifications that support packaging design optimization and sustainability initiatives across all owned brand categories.
  • Cross-Functional Consultation: Collaborate with key stakeholders in sourcing, design, store operations, marketing, supply chain, properties, and compliance to establish relevant data requirements and flexible standards that consistently reflect our commitment to safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
  • Process Management and Documentation: Create and administer change management processes to ensure accurate packaging document management portfolios across multiple systems and partner teams.
  • Training and Communication Development: Develop, manage, and execute creative training programs and educational resources for both internal and external audiences to drive comprehensive understanding of standards, specifications, and data accuracy best practices.
  • Standards Evaluation and Optimization: Assess data requirements, standards, and specifications to promote safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that align with industry standards, enhance sound engineering practices, remain consistent with risk tolerance expectations, and maintain a leadership position in the industry.
  • Cross-Functional Support and Guidance: Provide support and direction to cross-functional teams and colleagues to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of packaging data requirements, standards, and specifications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Consult with appropriate internal legal and regulatory experts, identifying impacts on current data requirements and standards, taking action to mitigate risks and identifying opportunities for exemplary compliance practices.
  • Global Partnership Communication: Work with cross-functional global partners to drive effective communication and roadshows around stated goal development, compliance, and data accuracy best practice requirements and expectations.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data to identify trends or issues, partnering with technology teams, to measure the effectiveness of training delivered and communications sent.
  • Industry Trend Analysis: Research industry trends and assess arenaflex's corresponding data and standards practices, sharing insights and recommendations with appropriate audiences for improvement and compliance.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to others, driving effectiveness and efficiency in team outcomes.
  • Team Culture Development: Create and maintain a positive team culture by demonstrating behaviors consistent with arenaflex's values of Inclusivity, Connection, and Drive; ensure ongoing, effective communications to the team, and support individualized development by providing regular performance feedback, coaching, recognition, and evaluation.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A four-year degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as business, communications, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of four years of experience developing and managing documentation and standards programs, preferably including packaging design and development.
  • Influence and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, manage projects, facilitate groups, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport, and collaborate effectively both in-person and remotely across all levels of an organization.
  • Technical Writing Expertise: Experience with documentation best practices, technical writing, and reporting.
  • Training and Communication Skills: Skilled at developing and advising on content, structure, and delivery of effective training platforms, roadshows, and communications.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading teams and/or projects, driving collaboration, empowerment, and teamwork.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Related experience with packaging or consumer products manufacturing is preferred.
  • Communication and Organization: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and resilience; comfort working in ambiguous and constantly changing environments.
  • Independence and Prioritization: Ability to prioritize, manage diverse tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
